This is a complimentary estimate to replace both master bathroom shower cartridges. These are Kohler pressure balance models. We would recommend this as the first option due to the shower being marble and the existing handles sit in the decorative band around the shower. While on site the technician will pay special attention to the access and layout of the surrounding area to allow for an accurate estimate is ultimately valve replacement is the course of action. I replaced 1 of the shower cartridges Tested with no issues Job completed - NO WARRANTY ON ANY SERVICES TODAY. MUST CHANGE OUT PRV - pressure is excessive.

Customer States: She wants her interior main shutoff valve in the garage replaced. She also requested we perform her HCC maintenance plan inspection. Technician Notes: Out today to perform HCC maintenance plan inspection and replace the existing CPVC main shutoff valve. While performing inspection I also found water pressure to be at 130psi, along with water flow not being regulated properly. PRV has failed (14 years old) and is causing additional issues. Resolution: Complete home inspection. Installed a new Watts double Union PRV in the garage along with a new ball valve for the main shutoff. Restored water to home, tested for proper function and leaks. Set pressure to 65psi. Job Notes: Customer is going to monitor toilet upstairs. Job Status: Complete. Estimate to replace the existing CPVC interior main shutoff valve with a new ball valve. Includes replacing the PRV in the garage due to pressure being at 130psi.

Customer Stated: She had a leak coming from the pipe in the basement. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that this is a 3/4” copper shark bite male adapter that was causing the slow leak. This shark bite is threaded into galvanized piping on both sides which is then threaded into a plastic water filtering system. I let home owner know the only way to make the proper repair would be to rework both sides of the piping connected to the filter with proper copper piping/fittings. I called into AHS warranty company, and they stated that home owner has pipe modification coverage, and gave me authorization code to make repairs. I let home owner know we would need to return as I do not have the proper materials to make this repair today. Resolution: We will need to have the existing galvanized piping replaced with new 3/4” copper piping with 3/4” x 1” male reducing adapters (thread to sweat) on both sides of the filter system to help stop leak, and help fix/prevent future plumbing issues.

Customer Stated: She was having a leak showing up on the downstairs ceiling. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that there was heavy leaking coming from the ceiling located in the basement guest bathroom right above the stand alone shower. I let home owner know that there is an obvious active leak, and I would need to cut into drywall to be able to make any repairs. I let her know we do not replace or make drywall repairs. Resolution: After cutting into the drywall I found that there was a active pin hole leak coming from the 1/2” CPVC pipe located in the ceiling for the stand alone shower. I was able to successfully cut out section of pipe where pin hole was, and replace with new 1/2” pex piping with no issues. I tested the line with the house being fully pressurized with no leaks/issues. Job Status: Complete Autho: 115EABI

Out today for customer concerns of slow draining master bath shower. Upon arrival and inspection, we found that the second floor stand-alone tile shower was slightly slow to drain when running. Once we removed the drain top we saw that there was hair and normal shower debris causing the slow down. We were able to use a closet auger to clear through the trap and remove the blockage. Tested and system is functioning properly.
