Customer stated: Water leak in ceiling Technician notes: upon arrival observed meter for signs of a water leak, none were found at this time. Cut open water spot on basement bathroom ceiling and found air duct system for a/c unit. The duct was completely covered in ice cold condensation, found unit in basement closet and this was also covered in condensation. CUSTOMER STATED: washer box backing up TECHNICIAN NOTES: came out today for diagnosis while out on site I found that the washer box is backing up into inside of home in basement area while further diagnosing I could hear water spilling behind wall , to which I found the cast iron line has failed and will need to be replaced due to old cast iron line not working also no ptrap on washer box. Dhufstetler 12/08/23 Tenant states sewage started backing up from downstairs hall bathroom stand up shower. Mainline stoppage affecting whole home. No outside clean out. Pulled toilet and ran sewer machine, cleared stoppage and tested. Left estimate to pull toilet and run camera.
