CUSTOMER STATED: The garbage disposal was not working. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that this is a insinkerator badger 1 with 1/3 HP disposal located under the main level kitchen sink. I found that the motor would hum, but the blades were not turning. I let the h/o know I would start with trying to manually reset the disposal, and if that fails we would need to replace the unit. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I was able to successfully manually reset the disposal with no issues. I tested disposal with running/volume amounts of water with no issues or leaks. CUSTOMER STATED: They had a leak coming from the front yard right next to the water meter. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that there was water leaking from the surface in the front yard near the street, and about 2’ away from the water meter itself. I let the h/o know that this is a main water line leak, and due to it being outside the foundation of the home AHS warranty will not cover for any repairs to be made. I presented options to have a spot repair done through service for today visit, and the h/o elected to move forward with repairs. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I was able to successfully cut out section of 1” PVC piping, and replace with brand new 1” pex piping material/fittings with no issues. I fully pressurized the whole home with no further issues or leaks. We showed today to diagnose the slab leak it seems that the hot spot on the floor is on the same spot of before Need to send an estimate for leak detection. We made second repair today and left hole open.
