CUSTOMER STATED: TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out today for an inspection as a benefit for one our home care club members. Unable to locate the PRV but pressure in the home was 65 so they most definitely have one but it is most likely in the wall somewhere. RESOLUTION: inspected the plumbing and found no issues.
CUSTOMER STATED: Grey plastic tubing busted and came to lose and the basement flooded the home. Comes out of the main water line coming out of the house. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Polybutalane had popped off the 90 degree fitting. Customer also wants to get main shut off valve replaced. RESOLUTION: Short section of polybutalane has been replaced with a short section of 3/4 pex. Main water valve has been replaced with a 1/4 turn pex ball valve.
CUSTOMER STATED: wanted our 1 year annual inspection TECHNICIAN NOTES: after inspecting the 4 bathroom home with 2 50 gallon water heaters I addressed some issues with the home owner. I found that the whole home pressure was 155 psi and has causes the master bathroom fill valve to malfunction and the main level bathroom faucet to start dripping. I recommend to make the repairs to the fixtures after the pressure issue is resolved. I also discussed with the home owner about the supply lines and shut offs about the age and the potential issues that can occur. Other then these issues the home is currently functions without and leaks that will cause damage. RESOLUTION: we will send the estimates to make the repairs to the home to return it to its proper working order.
CUSTOMER STATED: pressure is too high TECHNICIAN NOTES: tech previous trip found that the pressure regulator has failed. RESOLUTION: tech replaced the regulator to resolve the issue on return trip
CUSTOMER STATED: There is a leak under the tub. TECH NOTES: Seen the leak under the tub RESOLUTION: Fixed leak under the tub
CUSTOMER STATED: Water leak in downstairs bedroom TECHNICIAN NOTES: Found toilet above bedroom very loose and leaking around base, offered to cut ceiling but customer chose to have toilet pulled and reset. RESOLUTION: pull and reset toilet and tested with no further issues at this time with toilet, ceiling is still dripping, told customer to wait and see if it stops, if not we will have to return out and cut ceiling, customer will not have to pay another service call but will have to pay repair cost due to not. Cutting ceiling today.
CUSTOMER STATED: Need the internals of my bedroom toilet changed out with new ones. In order to replace the parts you may have to remove the reservoir because there's a bolt at the end of the water line I cannot reach ( customer said he has the parts) . The second job is an estimate for demolition and removal of the garden tub. In addition, I need advice on what needs to be done to the fixtures in order to put a more traditional or soaking tub in its place. I assume you leave the fixtures exposed until a suitable replacement tub is found. Also, if you can disable the wall switch which turns the jets on/off TECHNICIAN NOTES: The european style water closet is leaking internally and the components need to be changed. RESOLUTION: Used customer supplied components to replace for toilet. Provided estimate for prv. Customer wants to schedule replacement.
CUSTOMER STATED: Requested for Home Care Club Benefit - Water Heater Flush TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out today to flush the water heater for a home care club member as their benefit. RESOLUTION: Flushed heater turned the water back on and re-lit pilot with everything functioning properly with no leaks or drips at this time.
CUSTOMER STATED: Undermount sink fall and needed to be reinstalled RESOLUTION: Reinstalled under-mount kitchen sink and tested with no leaks or issues
CUSTOMER STATED: 1 water heater is bad, but both are 17 years old so the customer would like an estimate to have both replaced. TECHNICIAN NOTES: I went to the basement with the customer and got all pictures and information about the heaters and built an estimate to install both heaters. RESOLUTION: I built estimates and we will be sending the estimates via email.
