CUSTOMER STATED: Pin hole in a copper pipe, faucet upstairs gets no hot water, and shower upstairs gets no hot water. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out to the residence today for the concern of a pin hole on a 3/4 copper pipe in the basement, a bathroom single handle faucet that does not produce hot water, and a walk in shower that does not produce hot water upstairs. After investigating, we found a pin hole in a copper pipe, a defective moen push/pull shower cartridge and a defective bathroom faucet. Shower cartridge and faucet will need to be replaced. We need to remove single vanity from wall to properly remove and install new single handle bathroom faucet. AHS only authorized the pin hole leak repair while on site today. Customer needs to make a separate work order for the bathroom faucet and shower cartridge. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: Repaired section of 3/4 copper with a new section of 3/4 copper. Out today 3/4/24 Trevor J. Performed an annual home inspection as apart of our HCC maintenance plan. Customer would like to proceed with a water heater replacement. Estimate built and went over pricing with customer. They do not want this week, please call to schedule. Customer also may be reaching out to Moen for replacement cartridges for the master bathroom left side vanity faucet. Job Status: Complete. Estimates: Good to send/ book water heater estimate.
This estimate is to replace a lavatory supply line under the hall bathroom sink. The line has a pin hole on it causing water to spray all all in the cabinet underneath. Out today 3/1/24 Trevor J. Return trip to replace the cold side supply line under the upstairs hallway bathroom sink. Existing line was causing a leak under the sink. Installed a new steel braided supply line, restored water and tested for leaks. Customer needs us to send the previous invoice to her along with a water letter to handle the high water bill she received. Send to email on file. Explained to customer that we no longer work for CHW, the recall work order for toilet she submit will have to be picked up from another contractor on the CHW vendor list, Job Status: Complete. Customer States: Shower is draining slow in the master bathroom. Technician Notes: Found heavy hair/ soap scum build up in the master bathroom shower. This is preventing water from properly traveling through the drain. Resolution: Ran closet auger into drain to clear out build up. Cleaned walls of the shower drain and tested for proper flow. Reinstalled hair catch on top of drain. Job Notes: Sewer clean out located under cover in the driveway. Job Status: Complete. Autho: 115EYHM Estimates: No additional needed at this time.
CUSTOMER STATED : Water heater is leaking TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today for the concern of a leaking 22 year old 40 gallon natural gas water heater located in the basement / crawlspace of the home. Existing water heater is leaking from the base and will need to be replaced. Gas line to water heater will need to be modified to meet current state code. Water heater venting is currently stabbed into hvac main vent and will also need to be modified before we can make the replacement. Recommend 2 guys on Job for the replacement. Will need to go through back yard. Customer on site did not know much English, the owner of home is supposedly going to call the office in the next few hours to make the full payment to be put on the schedule. RESOLUTION : No repairs made today. Customer on site signed off for estimate. Deposit will be called in later today with payment information to complete job. JOB NOTES : No repairs made today. CM 02/29/2024 Customer stated: they wanted there main sewer line replaced from the foundation to the street. Tech notes: We dug a 60-65 foot trench, from the foundation to the street. Once trench was dug we found the belly in the line at the property to street connection. We cut the cast iron drain by the stret and found at lest 5 gallons worth of sewer water built up. Once we removed line we stuck a torpedo level on the 4 inch city drain line to find it back falling as well. We called Cobb county water service to come out and look at the line. Once con county water service came out to the property they stated that we are good to hook up the property main sewer line to the city sewer. They stated they will be back out to make the repair on the city side. Resolution: once cast iron drain line was removed we installed a 4 inch clean out right outside the foundation along with laying 4 inch pvc line’s approximately 60-65 feet from the foundation to the street.
