CUSTOMER STATED: The water heater was leaking. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that this is a Whirlpool 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the basement of home, and is 20 years of age which is outside of manufacture warranty. I let home owner know this heater is leaking internally, and is out of code. I can not make any repairs on this water heater it can only be replaced. I let home owners know the tank itself is covered through choice warranty, but the code required items would be an out of pocket expense. I presented options on having the existing tank replaced with new tank, and code required items with the home care club membership. The home owners elected to move forward with replacement. They also elected to sign up for home care club membership. RESOLUTION: We will be replacing the existing Whirlpool 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the basement of home with new 50 gallon tank, and all code required items to help fix/prevent any future plumb
