CUSTOMER STATED: The homeowner complaint is that the guest bathroom on the 2nd floor tub spout is constantly dripping and they hav water stains in the ceiling below There has been 2 other companies from Ahs sent out for the same issue TECHNICIAN NOTES: We found the shower cartridge appears to be original to the home and is the cause of the dripping tub spout We fo7nd that the tile is in the way and will have to be cut The stains in the ceiling appear to be dry but the homeowner said they have painted over them a couple times and they come back in the same place The homeowner told us that they thought that the other companies replaced the tub spout and did something with the overflow RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I recommend replacing the shower cartridge the tile will have to be cut In order to get the cartridge out And haveing a sheet rock company replace the stained sheet rock JOB NOTES: JOB STATUS: COMPLETE/NOTCOMPLETE (RETURN TRIP NEEDED?) Customer States: It takes a long time for water to reach various faucets throughout the home. Customer has lived here for a month. Moved from a newer/ smaller home in midtown. Technician Notes: Slab home from the late 80’s. Hot water takes a few minutes to reach temperature in master bathroom. Water heater is in the garage on the other side of home. Home is considerably wide. The distance between the heater and this bathroom is causing this issue. Existing water heater is 11 years old. Resolution: Explained to customer the only viable resolution would be to install a recirculating pump along with a crossover tee to keep hot water in the loop.
