Called out for leak in laundry room coming from upstairs master bathroom. Found multiple leaks: from shower drain, cold water cpvc fitting, and hot water cpvc shut off. Cut out and replaced 2” pvc shower drain. Reconnect, ran water, and tested with no further leaks at this time. Both water line leaks had been sprayed with flex seal. Cut out both hot and cold section to make necessary repairs. Water is on and tested with no further leaks at this time. ***upon replacement of shower drain, notice multiple hair line cracks in fiberglass base around drain (see pictures) installed new drain assembly and tested with no leaks or issues at this time BUT if those cracks get worse and cause leaks in the future, replacement of the shower unit will be needed.

Customer stated: out today to assess leak or bursted pipes. Tech notes: there is a lock on meter. I tried cutting it off with my saw for several minutes. I was able to cut due to it moving around in the meter box. We will need to get back out here with a special grinder wheel to cut through it. Bolt cutters won’t cut through it. I did notice that the water heater has cpvc above heater. I recommend installing copper to prevent any burst pipes. Resolution : need to come back out with the correct tools to cut through the lock at meter. The code did not work the Jeremiah gave me he said if it doesn’t work then cut it off. Mpg notes: need to get this job back on schedule and bring grinder with cutting wheel Water is off to home still Autho: get with Chris on what to bill resi pro for trip out today.
