Big Changes, Same Reliable Name: My Georgia Plumber’s Next Chapter
Some of you have been with us since the very beginning—back in 2007, when we were just Michaels Plumbing Service, running a couple of trucks around town and helping local homeowners one call at a time.
By 2013, we had grown—both in size and in vision—and My Georgia Plumber was born. That’s also when we introduced a certain familiar face: Mike the Bulldog and his not-so-well-behaved pups. They’ve been part of our brand ever since, cheering us on from every invoice, truck wrap, and fridge magnet.
Well, here we are in 2024—and it’s time for a bit of a refresh.
Out With the Script, In With the Bold
Let’s be honest. That old cursive logo served us well, but these days, cursive is more nostalgia than necessity. It’s time for something that’s easier to read, sharper to look at, and strong enough to match the plumbing services we bring to your home or business every day.
Our new look is bold, modern, and built to last—just like our work.
But don’t worry—Mike the Bulldog’s still around. He’s just had a little polish, too.
We’re Raising the Bar, Not Just the Brand
At My Georgia Plumber, we don’t just want to look better—we want to be better. That’s why we’ve doubled down on our investment in what matters most: our people.
Here’s how we’re doing it:
-
Our technicians train hands-on with the best in the industry—Rheem, Rinnai, Navien, and more.
-
Every team member is either in a training program or actively apprenticing. That means when we show up to your home, you’re not getting guesswork—you’re getting trained pros.
-
Our senior techs recently completed trench safety certification, ensuring your underground work meets the highest safety standards.
-
Coming up next: certifications in confined space safety, backflow prevention, and trenchless sewer repairs.
Our new service manager is packing the calendar with training opportunities, and we’re not slowing down.
Coming Soon: Our Own Community Training Center
We’re not just thinking about today—we’re building for tomorrow.
In Fall 2025, we’re opening a brand-new community training facility. This center will allow us to train more technicians in-house and offer hands-on career paths to those who want to enter the trades.
It’s our way of investing in Georgia’s future—one plumber at a time.
So, What’s Next?
We’re proud of our story—and even more excited about the chapters ahead.
