CUSTOMER STATED: Condensate floor drain backing up. TECHNICIAN NOTES: The floor drain is backing up due to buildup. RESOLUTION: Used toilet auger to clear debris in trap. Poured appreciated 2 gallons of water down drain with no back up. Shortened 3/4 " drains to provide air gap
CUSTOMER STATED: The dishwasher drain was leaking underneath the sink TECHNICIAN NOTES: My Georgia Plumber installed dishwasher on June 14 of this year. We found that the hose clamp had not been tightened properly and was allowing water to leak as the dishwasher drained. RESOLUTION: We tightened the hose clamp and ran dishwasher through a rinse cycle to have water drain.
CUSTOMER STATED: Wanted sewer gas re done for sewer smell in basement TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon arrival, we were led to the basement and the only odor that we detected was more of a musty smell. House is all gravity and there is no visible backflow valve in the basement. We did come to understand that the home sat empty for several years prior to the current homeowners. RESOLUTION: Discussed options to move forward which would be a diagnostic camera from the exterior and main interior clean out, secondly would be the smoke test.
CUSTOMER STATED: Return trip for sold estimate TECHNICIAN NOTES: Replace existing 50-gallon natural gas water heater from 2003. This unit is currently located in the basement with ground level access. This includes all code-required items, and an upgrade to a 12 year warranty. RESOLUTION: 12 year warranty heater is special order and will take 2-3 days to arrive. A deposit of 50% will be required prior to ordering the material.
CUSTOMER STATED: leak in ac TECHNICIAN NOTES: found 2-inch line for faucet sink and ac drain is clogged RESOLUTION: cut drywall and ran small machine
CUSTOMER STATED: Reset toilet and reset vanity drain. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Reset toilet and centered vanity drain and attached RESOLUTION: Reset toilet, new wax ring, and toilet bolts. Reset/centered vanity drain.
CUSTOMER STATED: Out to house today for 2 issues. First, the toilet from 1999 in the upstairs guest bathroom would not flush. TECHNICIAN NOTES: After inspecting I found that it was due to the flapper being broken. As for the second issue. The homeowner stated she replaced the rubber gasket on the push to close the drain in the master bathroom standalone tub. After inspecting I found that it just needed to be adjusted. After adjusting I tested by filling the tub up and no water was lost. RESOLUTION: I informed the homeowner about the age of the toilet in the upstairs guest bathroom. The homeowner wanted to proceed with only the flapper replacement.
CUSTOMER STATED: Main level kitchen sink not draining. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Both side of kitchen sink are slow draining. Partial clog in line. Will need to use snake machine to clear. RESOLUTION: Ran small sewer machine through kitchen drain and removed stoppage from drain. Cable was covered in grease when pulled back out. Recommending jet machine. Re installed trap and tested. Water is now flowing through drain.
CUSTOMER STATED: That they had another plumbing company out 3 weeks ago for a bigger issue with the same toilet. They replaced the fill valve. TECHNICIAN NOTES: The toilet in the main floor powder bath is running and this is due to an old flapper. RESOLUTION: Replaced the flapper and tested with everything functioning properly with no leaks or drips at this time. MGP NOTES: Told customer if it was just the flapper I would only charge the service fee but if the flush valve needed to be replaced we would go from there with an estimate.
Customer stated Estimates needed for water line to refrigerator. Technician notes There is an existing saddle valve under sink that is capped off and copper line run around the interior of the cabinet and sticking out of the wall behind the refrigerator. Resolution Two options for which we will provide es First is to modify the pipe below the sink the remove the saddle valve, run the supply line around the cabinet and into a MGP installed shut off.
