CUSTOMER STATED: That they had another plumbing company out 3 weeks ago for a bigger issue with the same toilet. They replaced the fill valve. TECHNICIAN NOTES: The toilet in the main floor powder bath is running and this is due to an old flapper. RESOLUTION: Replaced the flapper and tested with everything functioning properly with no leaks or drips at this time. MGP NOTES: Told customer if it was just the flapper I would only charge the service fee but if the flush valve needed to be replaced we would go from there with an estimate.
Customer stated Estimates needed for water line to refrigerator. Technician notes There is an existing saddle valve under sink that is capped off and copper line run around the interior of the cabinet and sticking out of the wall behind the refrigerator. Resolution Two options for which we will provide es First is to modify the pipe below the sink the remove the saddle valve, run the supply line around the cabinet and into a MGP installed shut off.
CUSTOMER STATED: Wanting water heater replaced because it is 13 years old and doesn't want another leak to occur. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out today to replace a 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in basement with code requirements. RESOLUTION: Installed new Rheem 50 gallon natural gas WH in basement. Tested for proper function and leaks.
CUSTOMER STATED: Water stain in first floor bathroom ceiling. TECHNICIAN NOTES: This is directly below a full bath occupied by two teenage boys RESOLUTION: There was already an access panel behind shower that I was able to remove and examine. I ran the tub and shower. Splashed the overflow with no leaks or drips. I did find that the spout/diverter is not fully engaging and sending water over the side of the tub. If the shower curtain is not correctly in place this will cause water to run out side of the tub and trickle through the tile joints and into the ceiling below. I do not find this to be a plumbing related issue. This is a splash issue.
CUSTOMER STATED: That the only concern they have is the main floor bathroom toilet running occasionally. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Noticed no major issues while on site today. RESOLUTION: Discussed all minor problems with the home owner
CUSTOMER STATED: Wanted an estimate for an ice maker line installed along with an inspection of the plumbing fixtures. TECHNICIAN NOTES: After inspecting the plumbing fixtures I found that the right side bar sink was slow draining and the plumbing underneath was back falling. The 2 toilets were both loose. The office has 2 6 gallon electric water heater under both bathroom sinks. The only major issue I found is the left side 6 gallon water heaters that T and p relief valve was jammed against the Thermal expansion tank and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. RESOLUTION: the tenant will discuss with the landlord about what he will cover and let us know. Tenant stated he wanted a higher handicap toilet.
Customer had a clog in the upstairs womens restroom. Tech used small machine and ran the cable through a floor drain about 75 ft to resolve the issue. Bathrooms are flushing normal again.
CUSTOMER STATED: The supply line for the refrigerator in the garage started leaking and the homeowner wants the water supply to the refrigerator in the garage completely disconnected TECHNICIAN NOTES: I found that the supply line for the refrigerator in the garage had Leaked it was receiving its water supply from the powder bath water lines RESOLUTION: I disconnected the refrigerator supply line and reconnected the powder bath lav faucet tested with no issues or leaks
CUSTOMER STATED: The upstairs toilet is running. TECHNICIAN NOTES: The upstairs faucet was loose and I tighten that up and no further issues and recommending a toilet rebuild or replacement. RESOLUTION: I built an estimate for the toilet fill valve and flapper and we will send it through via email.
CUSTOMER STATED: re-install existing toilet TECHNICIAN NOTES: tech Replaced wax ring and reset toilet RESOLUTION: install existing toilet and replace 2 stops for pedestal
